Who are we? What do we do?

Koré Pwodiksyon Lokal (KPL) is a Haitian socio-economic organization that has been promoting and encouraging Haitian citizens to consume their local products for sixteen (16) years. Our main goal and objective is to work with our Haitian compatriots within the country as well as those abroad to produce, consume local/national goods and services. The organization does not target its own financial reporting activities. It works with all strata and categories of people in society, particularly producers.

In cooperation with the Haitian Development Organization HADEV.ORG and our Radio Television KITANAGO.TV, the first step is to help the people of Haiti grow and consume their local healthy products to eliminate or significantly reduce hunger of 4.3 million Haitians from starvation and food insecurity. This year, 2023, we plan to raise funds to purchase 4 million pounds of corn seeds, crops, and organic fertilizer.

CORN CONSUMPTION PROJECT

KPL launched the Local Consumption Program for a period of seven (7) years. This program will develop several food production projects that will gradually be built throughout the entire territory of Haiti. This program reinforces the practical aspects of KPL methodologies that are used to promote the production and consumption of the country's goods and services. Of course, this program will amplify the awareness campaign that has been going on since 2007. The program has already announced the major socioeconomic and cultural project “LAKOU MANMAN DOUDOU” which will continue to widely promote the different parts of the Haitian economy such as: agriculture, breeding, fishing, agro-industry, crafts, services, etc. As previously stated, the first year will start with the “CORN CONSUMPTION PROJECT”.
